If you’re a bachelor’s or soon-to-be bachelor’s degree holder with a passion for research, the DESY Summer Student Program 2024 in Germany awaits your exploration. This 8-week training period offers a unique opportunity to delve into diverse fields at DESY in Germany.
Program Duration and Locations
From July 16 to September 5, 2024, selected candidates will conduct research at DESY laboratories in Hamburg or Zeuthen (Berlin). This program welcomes participants from all countries, expecting them to commit 39 hours per week to their research endeavors.
Eligibility Criteria
Academic requirements
By the summer of 2024, applicants should have completed at least three years of full-time university study. This program targets students at two stages:
- Those on the verge of obtaining a bachelor’s degree.
- Bachelor’s degree holders progressing towards a master’s degree.
Applicants who already hold or will obtain a master’s degree by the summer of 2024 are not eligible.
