We are on the lookout for adaptable Heavy Equipment Operators to join our growing team. These positions involve the operation of heavy equipment, including but not limited to excavators, dozers, haul trucks, backhoes, and wheel loaders. The Equipment Operators will primarily work on project sites in the Pittsburgh, PA area. A successful candidate should possess a positive attitude and at least one year of prior experience operating heavy equipment.
Essential Functions
Operates Heavy Equipment
As a Snow Removal Equipment Operator, you’ll be responsible for operating heavy equipment with earth-moving capabilities of at least 70,000 pounds. This role requires skill, precision, and a commitment to safety.
Operation of Bulldozer and Excavator
You’ll operate bulldozers and excavators, with or without GPS technology, ensuring efficient snow removal and site maintenance.
Safety First
Safety is our top priority. You’ll be expected to follow company and OSHA safety procedures rigorously to maintain a secure working environment.
Maintenance and Reporting
Routine inspection and preventive maintenance of equipment are crucial. You’ll be responsible for reporting defects or needed repairs to the foreman and/or superintendent.
Compliance and Communication
Compliance with company control standards and procedures is essential. Effective communication with team members and superiors is vital for successful project execution.
Manual Labor and Teamwork
