Latécoère is currently offering an exciting employment opportunity for Moroccan Sheet Metal Workers at one of their facilities in France.
Job Description
The main responsibilities for this position include:
- Reading blueprints, understanding customer documentation, and researching technical documentation (GED).
- Shaping sheet metal parts using specialized tools or specific presses, including planing, straightening, positioning, and forming of parts on the tools, operating presses, using measuring instruments, and adjusting angles, as well as selecting and using appropriate tools. This also includes the use of specific presses such as BLISS (TBT punch press) and the CHICAGO-type deburring machine.
- Bending or shaping sheet metal parts using a press brake, including selecting suitable tools, adjusting parameters, determining the order of bending, bending edges or simple rolls, and using measuring instruments.
- Fitting elementary parts, including positioning parts, drilling, milling, chamfering, and deburring, using measuring instruments.
- Shaping profiles in the air with control on a mannequin, including positioning and balancing profiles, shaping with formers and a shrinking machine, and adjustments.
- Shaping sheet metal in the air with control on a mannequin, including positioning and balancing the sheet metal, shaping with formers and a shrinking machine, adjustment, analysis, and correction of defects on machined parts on a marble surface.
- Retouching assembled parts or structures on the assembly line, involving the analysis and correction of visual defects found on the aircraft, adjustment, straightening, planing, and the use of measuring instruments.
Desired Profile
Candidates for this position should have:
- Knowledge of manufacturing instructions regarding assembly rules for all customers.
- Knowledge of assembly instructions in accordance with building standards.
- The ability to read and understand blueprints and/or instruction sheets.
- Basic knowledge of office software.
- English language proficiency at level A1.
