In the role of a General Warehouse Worker, your primary duties will involve physical handling of products, materials, supplies, and equipment in the warehouse setting. Utilizing electric/manual pallet jacks, customer orders are selected based on information provided by a handheld scanner. Upon completing the pallet/order, ensure proper packaging, labeling, and preparation for shipping.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for building precise and high-quality product orders, ensuring their safety for transportation before loading onto trucks for delivery to Coca-Cola Canada Bottling customers.
- Where possible, use voice-pick technology to build orders according to company standards or higher, focusing on productivity and accuracy.
- Capable of operating industrial-powered equipment such as pallet jacks and manual trucks.
- Responsible for meeting daily productivity requirements.
- Hand-transport products and/or materials as required.
- Organize completed pallets in designated shipping areas.
- Constant bending, kneeling, climbing, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma required.
- Over one year of previous experience in warehouse, service, production, and equipment.
- Ability to operate a manual or power pallet jack or lifting product.
- Attention to detail is a must.
