Position: Warehouse Worker

If you’re looking for a job that keeps you on your toes and offers a competitive salary, you’ve come to the right place. FedEx Supply Chain is currently hiring for the position of warehouse worker at our Coteau-du-Lac location. We have two different shifts available to accommodate your schedule:
Shift H: Friday to Sunday (6 am to 6 pm)
- Hourly Wage: $20/hour + $2/hour Weekend premium
Shift G: Monday to Thursday (4:30 pm to 3:00 am)
- Hourly Wage: $20/hour + $2/hour Night premium
As a warehouse worker, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Processing product orders.
- Handling and picking products using the Vocollect or WMS (SOGE) system.
- Sorting and palletizing orders and products.
- Printing, scanning, and applying labels using an RF scanner.
- Entering data into the inventory management system when needed.
- Safely operating handling equipment, such as electric pallet trucks, counterbalance forklifts, clamp carts, control selector carts, or mobile manual pallet trucks.
- Complying with security procedures at all times.
- Performing any other tasks and responsibilities assigned by management.
Education and Experience
To be considered for this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Possession of a DES (Diploma of Secondary Studies) or recognized equivalence.
- Less than one year of experience (experience is not a must).
- Ability to work effectively in a team.
- Proficiency in safely driving a forklift, whether manual or electric pallet trucks, counterbalance forklifts, or grab carts.
- A commitment to quality, precision, and safety.
- Basic computer skills are an asset.
- Capability to adhere to procedures and deadlines.
- Physical fitness, including the ability to work upright for extended periods and handle pallets.
- The ability to lift loads ranging from 20 lbs (9 kg) to 99 lbs (45 kg) for two.
Physical/Cognitive Requirements
To excel in this role, you’ll need to:
- Follow policies and procedures.
- Read, write, and interpret information.
- Perform basic mathematical operations (add, subtract, multiply, and divide).
- Be able to sit, walk, stand for up to 10 hours per day.
- Intermittently crawl, squat, climb, twist, bend, stoop, push, or pull.
- Possess visual acuity, including close, distance, and color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Lift and carry items weighing less than 25 pounds.
